I've updated the AR Beta to the PRC 3.3h rc2.  Due to drastic changes in the PRC's spellcasting system, this update may be incompatible with existing characters.  Please do not make bug reports concerning characters created before today.

In case I haven't mentioned it, there is access to the Character Rebuilding Center behind the Draqoman Station in Tyr so you guys can try out different class combos & find any bugs.

Finally, got all the Elementals & Paraelementals remade.  48 creatures doesn't seem like enough but it took quite a while.

You may (or may not) have noticed that I haven't had the Beta up in a while.  This has been due to hardware problems on the beta server.  I'm in the process of working on getting a new (slightly faster) beta server set up & will hopefully be able to put the beta back up sometime next week.

I have been working on the module a bit in the meantime.  Still getting the creatures remade per 3.5e PnP specs (or as close as possible) & added back in to the module.  Finished the elemental drakes last night.

The beta will be up for a while.  Make sure you update to the PRC 3.3h (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=7870) & run Worldgate before you try connecting.

BTW, there is a new scripted PRC-friendly, PnP ILR  (http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Item_level_restriction)in effect.  It doesn't throw up & text, just unequips gear you normally couldn't use in the 1.68 server.

I've added a CR based spawner to the arena in Tyr, 30 different creatures between 1/3HD & 30HD all for your fighting pleasure.  Quite a few of them are either new or have been redone to put them more inline with 3.5e or use abilities added by the PRC.

I will be adding almost every non unique creature to this spawner eventually.  Bug reports or suggestions are welcome.

Added Thrane's newbie quests back in.  The ones that aren't outside of Tyr's Caravan Way should work to completion including Journal entries.

Still need to add the kill tasks & delivery tasks.

Added Flin's Weapons back in to the beta server.  Also added the rest of Thrane's quests back in, but the delivery quests for the NPCs in the Warrens are still unavailable.

Added the Cistern & Golden Inix back in.  Cistern is a bit more level appropriate for the areas it is connected to.

Thanks to xwarren, you are now able to take the Contemplative & Master of Shrouds PrCs as well as any other PrC that adds Clerical Domains to your character.  Beforehand, players would run afoul of the domain checking function in the LevelUp script.

I'm happy to report that *all* of the Athas Reborn items (except the unique items) have been converted.  I've since started on the merchant inventories & am about 1/3 the way through.

I've finished all of the merchant inventories (70 in total) for AR.  Now I can finally move on to the rest of the creatures & NPCs.

I've updated Athas Reborn 1.69b to the PRC 3.4 (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=7870).  Please download it, update via Worldgate  (http://www.athasreborn.com/smf/index.php?topic=3857.0)& test out the new Beguiler & Templar classes as well as the new Bane magic & dynamic druidic wildshapes.

Bugs found thus far:

Do not try to use the Druidic Dynamic Wildshape unless you are human or half-elf or it will perma-bug your PC.

Metamagic doesn't work right for the Templars, you can select it, but can't use it (yet).

I've got TonyK's AI system working & stable on the 1.69 Beta server.  This is similar to the AI system used in NWN2 Storm of Zehir.  The creatures & NPCs now act much more intelligently & will heal as well as buff up companions & themselves in a much more useful fashion.  This new AI system should at least as challenging as Jasperre's AI (used on the 1.68 server) & maybe even more so since TonyK's AI has been developed longer & has more features.

Other recent updates:
Converted all of the Urikite half-giants & Ashen Giants.
Converted all of the low-level illithids.
Converted most of the golems & added a few more.
Converted all of the Antloids
Converted the rest of the Magical Beasts, Animals, Plants & Undead.

Quite a few of these converted creatures will have new scripted special abilities you won't see elsewhere, such as: the Salt Golem's Dehydrating Slam, the Pridemane's insanity causing discorporation attack, PnP STR & CON damaging attacks for Shadows & Wraiths & many more.

Mim's quest in the warrens & all associated areas & creatures are back in & should be working 100%.  I really need a party to run thru it to see if the spawn system scales to the parties level like it supposed to.

Also, all the elemental Primals have been converted over to 1.69.

Also, also, you should never get an error when opening a store via a merchant conversation, I junked the old system & made my own, works 100% of the time.

The Citidel of Fire, Pit of Fire & Barrens & quests associated with those areas are back in place.  Unfortunately, you won't be able to reach them till I get the Elven Caravan back in.

Elven Caravan / Oasis is back in & spawning.  Please test all merchants.  Quests won't be available just yet.

Sands of Time & related areas are also back in, but not spawning yet.

The Athas Reborn 1.69 module is back up to 31 Mb.  The 1.68 module is 76 Mb.  How much of that was cruft remains to be seen. :D

The Glowing Desert & Great Ivory Plains areas are back in.  Also, please test the "Detour" quest in ft. Skonz.

I've added support for the Gith prestige race, mostly because it was easy & I needed the race ready for the Gith Caverns I am working on adding back in.  May not be ready for players to use today since I have to recache the database before you will see it in the ConvoCC.

Please update your Haks & TLK via Worldgate.

The Gith Caverns are back in.  They should get progressively harder the farther in you get, so please test.  Also, I've tweaked the spawning in Sands of Time, Grotto of Dreams & the Ravines to give more of a challenge. 

The Warlord is now back (with a new legal build) & ready to kill you guys.

Athas Reborn has been upgraded to PRC version 3.5 (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=7870) (Thanks XWarren!) You may have some issues if you try connecting with an older version.

Don't forget to update via WorldGate as well.

AR Beta server had a hard drive crash.  We'll be down till I can fix / replace it & reload everything.

I've got the new server up & running, but I can't load the Athas Reborn module in multiplayer without a crash occurring.  I cannot figure out what is going since it's crashing before it even populates the error log.  The only thing different for the entire setup is the new hard drive.

The Ringing Mountains & all related sub-areas have been added back in.  It's using a new encounter table so try it out with a range of levels & let me know if the difficulty is right for that area.  Same for River Cave.

I've added the Forked Tongue Road & Grak's Pool to the module.  These new areas lie somewhere south of Altaruk.  The Nomad camp near the Elven Caravan has also been restored.

I've added Red Sands, Blood Sands, The Mastyrial Lair & Shifting Sands back into the beta server.

The Forest Ridge is back in as well but only has a placeholder encounter table at the moment.  The Lost Souls quest should be finishable as well.

The Forest Ridge now has a proper encounter table.  A lot of new critters in there. :D

Added back in the following areas:  The Crawl, The Revs, The Old Mines (The Priests), The Abandoned Waystation (The Foyer), Faria's Passage & the 3 UnderTyr Passages.

Modified The Crawl & Faria's Passage pretty extensively.

All UnderTyr areas have encounter tables once more.  Doing something different in The Web, please test it out with a 6-10th lvl PC & tell me how it goes.

The Crimson Ruins are back in & spawning sans boss-type creatures.  The Crimson Depths are back in but not spawning anything.

Also, I need a stress test done on the ConvoCC.  I replaced the new version of the ODBC module with the old one that we have been using for years.  Hopefully it will stop losing connection to the database now.

The Tyrian Templar Quarter's & all related quests are back in the module.  You should be able to become a Templar or find the Bloodletter now.

Added the Tyr Thieves Guild, Village of Kled & Kled Mines back in.  Kled mines aren't spawning anything just yet.  You *should* be able to join the Thieves Guild again.
